A Christmas Carol by The American Drama Group

In November our school community was treated to a breathtaking performance of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic, A Christmas Carol, brought to life by The American Drama Group. Held in the school auditorium, the production transported the audience to Victorian England, where the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge embarks on a profound journey of self-discovery, guided by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.

The American Drama Group delivered a great performance, combining exceptional acting and atmospheric stage design and lighting to capture the magic of Dickens’ story. From the haunting entrance of Marley’s ghost to the heartwarming transformation of Scrooge, the production kept the audience spellbound. The audience was particularly impressed by great acting and the creative use of music to enhance the emotional depth of the narrative.

More than just entertainment, this production is a poignant reminder of the values of kindness, generosity and the importance of community.

Our heartfelt thanks to The American Drama Group for bringing this classic story to our stage, and to the Förderverein and its generosity in enabling some children to see a play for the first time. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success.

Here's to more opportunities to broaden our horizons and to the spirit of Christmas and its ability to bring us together!
